I love taking photos, and I love new challenges. 
It's a privilege to create images for a living, and I particularly relish finding new perspectives on old subjects.

I bring to the process my years running my own businesses in Outdoor Leisure, Adventure Sports, Retail, Marketing and Manufacturing. It amazes me how often I use experiences  and knowledge from a previous role to inform the process of creating images.

Being outdoors is where I'm happiest, especially on an adventure with our young family in Scotland or further afield, and always with a camera to hand.

I post daily images on my social media, documenting the changing faces of our city throughout the seasons, and as it's pulled from one exciting event to the next. There's always something happening in Edinburgh, and always new perspectives to capture.

I write a regular newsletter on Substack which can be sent straight to your email. I’ll be posting stuff from my daily travels, jobs with clients, work with charities, whatever I’m up to really….but I’ll also be revisiting older shoots and telling the full story behind them…maybe even the soundscape that I recorded during the shoot. Some posts will get technical…some might get a wee bit poetic…and I may get completely carried away in some posts and make an arse of myself. Hopefully you will tell me when that happens?

It's great to get feedback on images and even better when folk suggest ideas, so please don't hold back.
